Tommy B SAL, aka Sticka Lightning, is a Jamaican reggae artiste from Clarendon, Jamaica, now based in Miami and bringing roots reggae energy to the city’s live music scene. He grew up singing in school and church choirs, later honing his craft on sound systems around Hayes, inspired by legends like Burning Spear, Culture, Cocoa Tea, Louie Culture, and Terror Fabulous.

He made his recording debut in 2004 with “Friday Gal,” produced by Cocoa Tea on the Roaring Lion Production label, which became an instant hit and led to performances on major Jamaican shows such as Jam Jam, Spring Break, and GT Taylor’s Christmas Extravaganza. Since then, he has recorded for labels including Donsome Records, TM God Alone Production, Royal Records, and Spider Music Production, releasing songs like “Victim Prayer,” “Want Food,” “Wah Dem Fighting Fa,” and the 2022 single “Certain Livity.”

Now actively performing in Miami, Tommy B SAL continues to build his presence in the city’s live music scene — recently sharing the stage with grime MC Grim Sickers and dubstep/grime producer Snake Eyes (formerly Fabricator, of Low Tide Recordings).
